steps to Link your Aadhaar with your demat account

Linking of Aadhaar is simple, easy and just a click away using NSDL services

• • What you need to keep handy?

–    Your Aadhaar number

–    Your PAN number

–    Your demat account number i.e. DP ID and Client ID

–    Access to your mobile or email to receive your OTP

• Your name as recorded on Aadhaar card should be exactly same as the name as recorded in your demat account. This will enable authentication with UIDAI database.

Safe

NSDL will send you One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile number and email id registered with NSDL. You need to enter that OTP for us to authenticate you.

Effortless

NSDL will then display your demat account details for your confirmation. We will also ask you to enter your Aadhaar number and a few other details.

Simple

NSDL will then authenticate your Aadhaar details with UIDAI. Upon successful authentication your Aadhaar number will be linked to your demat account(s).
