GSTR 9 Annual Return Format in Excel /PDF
The Govt. has notified Central GST (Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2018 by Notification No 39/2018 Central Tax Dated 4th September 2018 wherein it has notified
- Form GSTR-9 of Annual Return which is required to be filed as per Rule 80 of CGST Rules 2017 and
- Form GSTR-9A of Annual Return for composition taxpayers.
Who has to file GSTR 9 ?
As per Rule 80 of CGST Rules 2017
Every registered person, other than an Input Service Distributor, a person paying tax under section 51 or section 52, a casual taxable person and a non-resident taxable person, shall furnish an annual return as specified under sub-section (1) of section 44 electronically in FORM GSTR-9 through the common portal either directly or through a Facilitation Centre notified by the Commissioner:
